Guess you can call me a supplement freak...lol. Been taking health food supplements for over 20 years! Does it affect me? Of course it does, in a good way. Some said it is not real or true, it is just money making industry. Oh well, it all depends of how much you know about the producing and manufacturing process, of it. Meaning, knowing the quality, not forgetting a reliable and trusted brand name.
Now, season change, trend change, almost everything change. Packaging change, name change and technology change. Food supplements? Oh yeah, it has change much but my very own rule is never miss out on your basics. Always get back to your basics nutrients, your body will thank you for it. Why?
You see, as we move with the changes, there may be a point where you felt, nothing seems to work with all these new or advanced food supplements, as in how chemically they have been changed, to make it more absorbent or potent. Getting back to basic, is just telling your body to take a break, to heal and restore, before you start re-introducing more and more health food supplements.
How to go about it? Every 3 months or so, make an effort to eat clean (no seasoning or simply cut down on sugar and salt). Also, start by helping your body to detox. Using herbal supplement to balance up your body chemistry.
Make a search online for body detox. You will get lots of information on it. For example, milk thistle to detox your liver. Blood cleanser and so on.
Before you start any detox program, make sure you are fit and able to do so with no health complication to start off with.
